I was first introduced to fanfiction in 2004, shortly after I first discovered Stargate SG-1. I remember I was on the internet, searching for anything related to the show that I could find; whether it was memorabilia on eBay, or behind-the-scenes information on the episodes. After a few hours of research, I then came across fanfiction… and for the next few weeks, any spare moment I had, was spent reading fic after fic. 

Real life and responsibilities then came along and my love for Stargate and fanfiction fell into the background – until early 2012. I happened to be flicking through the television channels one evening and Stargate was showing. From that moment, I was hooked once again. I found all my DVDs and then spent a number of evenings and weekends re-watching all the episodes. I then remembered the joy that is fanfiction, and after reading a few of the stories I could remember from all those years ago, my mind was full of my own ideas. 

As a result, in April 2012, I decided to publish my first fanfiction – and I have never looked back. With regards to my fics; I am a HUGE Sam/Jack shipper. I’ve been rooting for the two since the first episode, so it’s very likely my stories will involve an element of S/J. I do try to remain as close to canon, and in-character as possible though.
